Meet Sandy: Goodwill Office Assistant

After retiring early from a previous job, Sandy quickly realized that she did not want to stay at home. So, thirteen years ago, she began working at Goodwill, assisting our HR department, digitizing files, keeping our agency organized and being a friendly, helpful presence for office visitors and callers.

“It kind of gives me a purpose,” she said. “I feel like I’m helping people, and I just love meeting new people. I love the people I work with, and I love learning different things all the time, and this gives me an opportunity to do that.”
