GOODWILL® IS THE PLACE TO MAKE YOUR HOLIDAYS SPECIAL
Great finds and unique gift ideas can be found at your local Goodwill this holiday season
Lincoln, NE — There’s no need to rush around town this holiday season trying to find gifts for everyone on your shopping list. That’s because Lincoln Goodwill has everything you need to make the season something special — from great finds and unique gift ideas to good times — all in one place. Goodwill is a great option whether you’re looking for one-of-a-kind, inexpensive gift ideas or items you can use in making personalized, do-it-yourself gifts.
“When you buy holiday gifts and supplies from Goodwill, you’re actually giving twice,” said Molly Deaver, Communications Coordinator. “In addition to finding a wide variety of gifts, you can also feel good about building brighter futures for people right here in Lincoln.”
By shopping at and donating to Goodwill, you provide job placement and training opportunities for members of your community. Lincoln Goodwill also partners with Big Brother’s Big Sisters, Lincoln Literacy, Community Justice Center, and YWCA Job Outfitters to provide employment related services to individuals who face barriers to employment.
For those who like to create their own holiday gifts, Lincoln Goodwill provides a treasure trove of usable goods — from vintage glassware, linens and utensils to a wide variety of holiday sweaters and all sorts of baskets, containers and bags.
In addition to finding great gifts when you shop at Goodwill, you also reduce waste by giving used items a second life. Considering the holidays are all about giving, shopping at one of Lincoln Goodwill’s 6 of retail locations can make the season extra special this year!
About Goodwill Industries Serving Southeast Nebraska, Inc.
Goodwill Industries Serving Southeast Nebraska, Inc.’s mission is willing workers employed and community resources maximized. Its programs support individuals with barriers to employment by providing services which equip them with the tools needed in order to obtain employment, thus adding to lower unemployment rates and less reliance on government assistance within the Lincoln community. Additionally, Goodwill contributes to ecological balance through massive recycling efforts of unsalable textiles and other products.
The community can support Goodwill all year long by donating their gently-used items, shopping at Goodwill Stores and making tax-deductible financial donations. The sale of donated goods remains the greatest source of funding for programs Goodwill provides. Learn more at www.lincolngoodwill.org.
