Goodwill is here to help
Looking for an easy way to serve the community? Host a Goodwill donation drive! Whether you’re a business, school, church, or community organization, Goodwill can help you organize a successful drive. Goodwill provides free donation bins, pickups when the bins are full, and marketing materials upon request. To get started, email donate@lincolngoodwill.org or call (402) 742-8456.

Tired of dealing with unsold garage sale items? Register your association for Goodwill’s Neighborhood Challenge! Participants receive free, centralized pickups of unsold items after neighborhood-wide garage sales. After pickup, Goodwill weighs the donations. The three Lincoln neighborhoods that collect the most pounds of donations exceeding 2,000 will win a cash prize to improve their neighborhood.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Email donate@lincolngoodwill.org or call (402) 742-8456 with a preferred date, time and centralized pickup location. All Neighborhood Challenge pickups MUST be scheduled at least two weeks in advance, but we encourage you to sign up as early as possible. Spots fill up quickly!
WHAT CAN I DONATE?
Participants can donate gently used furniture, electronics, clothing and other home goods. We cannot accept microwaves or televisions. Click here for a more comprehensive list of accepted donations.
MY NEIGHBORHOOD ISN’T HOSTING GARAGE SALES. CAN WE STILL PARTICIPATE?
Yes! Goodwill can help you organize a neighborhood-wide cleanup event, during which residents bring their gently used donations to a centralized location. All donations will be weighted and recorded for our Neighborhood Challenge.
CAN GOODWILL HELP PROMOTE THE EVENT?
Yes! Upon request, participating neighborhoods can receive the following materials:
- Social Media Marketing
- Flyers
- Alternate Donor List
- TV Recycling Policy Information
- Yard Signs ($10 refundable deposit required for each sign)
- Newsletter Blurb
- Additional supports identified by the association within reason and Goodwill’s ability
